Miniature Carousel Builders Corner
This month's example of beautiful carousel art was constructed by Gene Johnson of Ohio, a charter member of Miniature Carousel Builders, Inc. The carousel was displayed in the MCB Exhibit at Knoebel's Amusement Park, Elysburg, Pennsylvania.
Gene has been hand carving for twenty years and began carving carousel animals in 1991 after attending a carousel exhibit. This led to the construction of his first carousel which was under construction for approximately 2½ years. He is currently working on his second carousel.
Gene's wife, Virginia, painted the animals and carousel.
