Miniature Carousel Builders Corner
This month's beautiful, hand-carved carousel was constructed by Harold "Skip" Ebling of Pennsylvania, a charter member of Miniature Carousel Builders.
Harold and his wife Janet, have named this construction, "The Grandchildren's Carousel" which was built in 1992 and was under construction for 28 months. He has since built another carousel and currently has one under construction.
Skip was motivated to carve a 28" carousel horse which won first prize in the Senior Art Show and is now exhibited in the Berks County Court House.
The photos below include his carousel and third carved horse which is unfinished and needs final carving and jewels before painting. His granddaughter Taylor, is shown with his second carved horse.
